What’s the key to success in school and in life in general?
** Being an EXCELLENT reader! **
Unfortunately, not many elementary school students can say they’re great readers.
The reason why is simple. Most books geared towards elementary school students don’t provide the appropriate challenge to help young readers grow.
These students are encouraged to read, but they’re not reading the RIGHT books at the RIGHT time.
BookExcel was created to help resolve this issue. For those who want to become excellent readers and have a desire to EXCEL beyond their peers BookExcel offers the following benefits.
THE RIGHT BOOKS
- BookExcel contains a regularly updated reading list of 700+ books that’ll help an average elementary school reader (1st-4th grades) excel to far above average.
- Have your own books? You can easily add them and track your reading sessions.
THE RIGHT TIME
- Each book is given a star rating to make the reader easily aware of whether the book is considered to be on grade, above grade, or somewhere in the middle.
- You’ll also see progress marker dates (PMDs) with each book. The book PMDs are like guide posts that help keep the reader on pace. Is the reader a little ahead of their peers based on what they’re reading? Is he or she far behind? A quick glance at the PMDs will give you an idea as to where they stand.
- Percentile scores. Each book is given a score. These scores can differ depending upon the book and the grade level. Can the reader easily read and comprehend a book at the related grade level? The percentile scores will give you valuable information and clue the reader in on where they would rank amongst their peers.
BOOKEXCEL ALSO INCLUDES
- Its Universal. One app. Multiple devices.
- Detailed Reading Session Statistics
- Various Book Logs
- Reading Timer
- ISBN Barcode Scanner
- and more...
Note: This app doesnt contain a copy of the recommended books. The books can be found online or in local bookstores and libraries.
